President Trump has no plans to campaign for Roy Moore in Alabama ahead of the special election to fill Attorney General Jeff Sessions’ vacant Senate seat, a White House spokesperson told the Associated Press.

This news comes after reports of sexual assault were levied against the embattled Republican Senate candidate, who is running against Democrat Doug Jones. President Trump has taken to Twitter following the reports to support Moore and discredit Jones.

President Trump has not distanced himself from Moore and asked him to step aside as other mainstream Republican leaders have done.
